To make things a little more complicated, I am at the top of the mountain and I forgot my glasses! Great! Anyway, much of what you will read has been talked about already. I'm just trying to figure out a way to make blogging more routine again.
If this works out, I'll post another entry sometime today. ...I hope. Enjoy!
Cathy and I collected our laundry and went to Springerville to do chores including some grocery shopping and Internet business. I updated my blog and Cathy did some research on Chinlly Canyon area for our next stop. She also composed some emails and did a little banking.
All of this while we were in the parking lot of the laundry. I did my blogging work but wasn't satisfied with the results. I'm finding when a few days go by and I try to catch up in one entry, the quality of my writing suffers. I think it has to do with the way I retain memory. I reflected this to Cathy last night and she suggested I do my blogging on Microsoft Word and then simply copy what I wrote to the blog.
That seems too easy a solution. That's exactly what I am doing right now. I'm in front of my PC, off line in the campground 7:30 in the morning writing away. By the way, I have to mention the meal we had last night. Cathy bought some salmon while shopping yesterday. We coked it on the barbie. We had some fresh green beans too. I made some mac and cheese for a side dish. It was delicious.
The birds here are eating me out of house and home. I am filling the seed feeder daily, sometimes more than once. The hummers have gone through a liter of nectar and more arrive every day. I counted over twelve at one time last night, before the sun went down.
The days continue to be warm. I can't remember the last time I waited out a rain storm in the trailer. The mornings are perfect. The at about 11:00 the winds pick up and it remains at a steady 20 mph wind with gusts for the rest of the day. Everyday has been the same. We are getting used to the wind and enjoy it when it comes up. It helps keep the heat down. The temps are in the sunny 80's.
