Made it to Quartzsite.

I've been toying with the idea of providing a calendar for 2010 for my dyed in the wool readers. The idea is not to be a profit making scheme, though that wouldn't be all bad. I hope to break even, if possible. But it would be something new for me to do. It would allow me to do something with the thousands of photos I've taken. I think it would be a nice addition to your den, kitchen, garage, or whatever. It would also make an interesting, if not odd, gift. Most importantly, it would keep me out of trouble.

That's why I've put the survey at the top of the blog page. You're gonna have to tolerate an annoying thing at the top of each post for the next ten days. The survey is intended to give me an idea if the project is worth doing. No one is under any obligation to take it. For those of you who are getting email updates of my posts, you'll have to visit the web page to vote. Poke here to do that.

Thanks for all who have made this little web site a good thing for me. I intend to keep it up for a long time.

Okay, let's get back to the everyday adventure. It was another long, long travel day. We drove from Meteor Crater to Quartzsite. We will be here for at least a week. Cathy has a friend living in the Sunsetters RV Park with good connections. We got a great deal for the stay. This will be our base camp for getting a few things out of the way in Mexico.

I will get my teeth checked and cleaned. Cathy will get a new pair of glasses. She also wants to pick up one of those stained glass windows for her RV door. We will do the tourist thing too, of course. I should also mention a hike, or two.

Most importantly, we just want to relax. I am in my shorts and sandals. It's 9:00 am and 84 degrees. It's warm, sunny, and laid back. That's what we intend to be for at least a couple of days... laid back!
